Starlight ultra-low light technology can capture color details in low light down to 0.005 lux. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene which produces clear images in dark environments.

IVS triggers an alarm and takes a defined action when it detects tampering with the camera, an error writing to an onboard microSD card, an error sending or receiving data over the network, and unauthorized access to the cameras.

H.265 compression expands pattern comparison and difference-coding by improving motion vector prediction and motion region merging, and incorporating an additional filtering step called sample-adaptive offset filtering.

The camera conforms to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) and to the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) specifications, ensuring interoperability between network video products.

The camera is designed for extreme temperature environments and complies with an IK10 vandal resistance rating, making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 11 lb of force dropped from a height of 15.75″.

This camera is designed to be used for outdoor applications. Its 2kV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning.
